Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Healthcare Merchant Payments Sales Consultant to develop new healthcare merchant payment opportunities and expand relationships with healthcare practices nationwide.

The role partners with Healthcare Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, product specialists and implementation teams to translate client needs into tailored payment strategies that improve cash flow and the banking relationship, with travel to assigned markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five+ years in merchant acquiring, payment processing, treasury management, or related.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage complex multi-stakeholder opportunities.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payments ecosystem.
• Willingness to travel 25% or more.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a pipeline of healthcare merchant payment opportunities.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand client payments across channels (in-person, online, mobile).
• Assess the client’s payments ecosystem and integrations.
• Design tailored payment strategies to accelerate receivables and improve cash flow.
• Coordinate with product, pricing, underwriting, risk, and implementation teams.
• Maintain opportunity, activity, and forecast information in Salesforce.
• Meet or exceed revenue, sales, activations, and retention goals.
• Stay current on healthcare market trends and payment methods.
