Job summary

Empire Today, LLC is seeking a Field Sales Manager to expertly coach a team of Flooring Consultants and deliver the Empire in-home experience. The role blends in-field coaching with real-time observation, driving customer satisfaction and market results.

You will lead end-to-end sales execution, model best-in-class selling techniques, and help consultants reach their earning potential through structured development and performance coaching.

Qualifications

• Two years of sales leadership and coaching experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Expertise in consultative or in-home selling processes.
• Ability to observe, diagnose and improve sales behaviors.
• Proven capability to coach and influence performance in a field-based environment.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
• Self-motivated, able to lead teams in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• In-field coaching and development: spend 50% in the field conducting ride-alongs to coach and develop skills.
• Observe real-time interactions to identify opportunities and improve the customer experience.
• Deliver actionable coaching to strengthen engagement and in-home experience.
• Translate performance data into coaching priorities for consultants.
• Lead brand-aligned selling practices and demonstrate IHX Home Floor Advantage.
• Provide real-time decision authority during field activities.
• Support onboarding of new flooring consultants through field training.
