Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in the United States seeks a Field Structure and Alignment Senior Specialist to optimize field sales design and deployment.

You will support end-to-end alignment activities from restructures to product launches, partnering with cross‑functional teams to ensure scalable, compliant operations. The role requires strong project management, vendor oversight, and business acumen, with a focus on improving processes and enabling effective training on ZAIDYN utilization for field sales

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in field sales, master data management, sales operations, or similar.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, plan, and execute.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Partnership: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders early in restructures, product launches, and deployment planning to ensure alignment requirements are considered in upstream design and implementation.
• Full-Lifecycle Alignment Support: Support the design, execution, and maintenance of field sales structure and alignment activities across the full lifecycle of the work.
• Execution & Compliance: Execute field sales structure and alignment changes in accordance with compliant operational processes and business requirements.
• Vendor & Team Stewardship: Manage the day-to-day work of Alignment Stewards supporting alignment changes in ZAIDYN.
• Operational Leadership: Lead daily operations with a focus on prioritization, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
• Downstream Alignment Support: Support call deck maintenance and related field sales operational activities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate on cross-functional project teams supporting field sales priorities.
• Process Improvement: Identify and help implement opportunities to improve processes, tools, governance, and capabilities.
• Training & Enablement: Facilitate the development and implementation of training and communication plans related to ZAIDYN utilization for field sales managers and other stakeholders.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify risks and downstream impacts and recommend mitigation actions.
• Operating Model Evolution: Contribute to the evolution of the operating model to improve agility, scalability, and business impact.
