Job summary

CoVolt Power is an intermediate-level safety management role focused on renewable energy construction safety. You will promote a proactive safety culture, support injury prevention plans, and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA standards across HV, foundations, roads, and substations.

Reporting to the Site Safety Manager, you will audit work, investigate incidents, verify training, and collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to protect people and assets on site.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in construction safety management or related field.
• Safety auditing experience and knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote CoVolt Power's core principles and safety culture.
• Represent CoVolt Power professionally with clients, subcontractors, and officials.
• Support Site Safety Manager in injury and illness prevention plans for roads, foundations, HV electrical works, substations, and generation components.
• Collaborate with Site Safety Manager, Project Manager, Construction Manager and project staff to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform audits, inspections, and surveillance per the injury and illness prevention plan.
• Assess safety of work, track and ensure corrective actions per plan and company policies.
• Complete incident investigations, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the project injury and illness prevention plan, including emergency action, evacuation, and security plans.
• Verify personnel have requisite safety training for their scope of work.
