Job summary

CoVolt Power in Mexia, TX is seeking an intermediate level safety professional focused on promoting a proactive safety culture and managing project safety plans for construction of infrastructure including roads, foundations, high voltage works.

You will collaborate with Site Safety Manager, Project Manager, and field staff to ensure regulatory compliance, conduct audits and incident investigations, verify training, and help develop the project injury and illness prevention plan.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in construction safety management or related field.
• Three years of construction safety management experience.
• Safety auditing experience and knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote company core principles and a proactive safety culture.
• Represent Signal Energy professionally with clients, subcontractors, and officials.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the project safety plan and emergency procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project safety plans.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Verify safety training for all personnel and close corrective actions.
• Participate in incident investigations and prepare reports.
