Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an intermediate level Safety Manager with a developmental path toward Safety Specialist III, reporting to the Site Safety Manager. The role collaborates with Construction Managers, Superintendents, field staff, owners, and subcontractors.

The position focuses on promoting a proactive safety culture, risk management for solar/BESS/high-voltage projects, and ensuring regulatory compliance across North America.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in construction safety management or related field.
• OSHA safety auditing experience or knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote CoVolt Power Core Principles and safety culture on site.
• Represent CoVolt Power professionally with clients, subcontractors, and officials.
• Support Site Safety Manager in injury/illness prevention plans for infrastructure work.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project safety plans.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and surveillance per the plan; document findings.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the project safety plan, including emergency plans.
• Verify personnel have required safety training for their roles.
• Perform incident investigations and develop root-cause analyses.
• Identify and remediate unsafe acts and conditions in the field.
