Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an intermediate level safety professional to support construction safety on our renewable energy projects in Hillsdale, IN. The role focuses on promoting a proactive safety culture, implementing injury and illness prevention plans, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and related standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in construction safety management or related field.
• Safety auditing experience and knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote company Core Principles and safety culture on projects.
• Represent CoVolt Energy in a professional manner with clients, subcontractors, and officials.
• Support Site Safety Manager in injury/illness prevention plans for construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project safety plans.
• Perform audits, inspections, and surveillance per safety plans.
• Determine corrective actions for unsafe conditions and incidents.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the safety plan including emergency procedures.
• Verify personnel have requisite safety training.
