Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an intermediate level safety professional to support site safety management across renewable-energy construction projects. You will promote a safety-first culture, assist in injury/illness prevention plans, and verify training compliance while coordinating with project teams.

The role emphasizes audits, incident investigations, and collaboration with site leadership to uphold OSHA standards and company procedures on complex infrastructure sites.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in construction safety management or related field and/or 3 years of construction safety management experience.
• Experience with OSHA standards and safety auditing.
• Ability to conduct incident investigations and report findings.

Responsibilities

• Promote company safety principles and foster a proactive safety culture.
• Assist the Site Safety Manager with injury and illness prevention plans for heavy construction and HV electrical works.
• Audit, inspect, and monitor site safety compliance and corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure personnel have required safety training pertinent to their scope of work.
• Collaborate with construction management and field staff to maintain safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain emergency action, evacuation, and security plans as needed.
