Job summary

Amazon's Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovation (RDPI) Technology Deployment team seeks a Systems Engineer to oversee large-scale deployment of robotics and automation across North America stores.

This field-based role travels up to 75%+, coordinating with hardware, software, product, and operations teams to execute installations from planning to go-live.

Relocation to Amazon Corporate offices in Seattle, Boston, Nashville or Austin will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 1+ year’s experience with technical drawings (CAD) or CAD models.
• 1+ year’s experience with mechanical, electrical, IT networked, or software systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and resolve on-site issues using 3D clash reports.
• Willingness to travel across the US and internationally.

Responsibilities

• You will support and guide installation of robotics and automation at fulfillment centers.
• You will develop knowledge of robotic system operation and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• You will travel to project sites and collaborate with stakeholders to align on status.
• You will manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget management.
• You will lead teams of engineers on projects.
