Job summary

Amazon Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovations is seeking a Robotics Systems Engineer I to lead the on-site deployment of robotics across North America stores operations. You will coordinate installations, integrations, and troubleshooting with cross-functional teams, travel up to 75%+, and relocate to Boston, Seattle, or Austin as needed.

The role requires a strong technical background in electro-mechanical systems, networking, and CAD, with experience in field deployment and project

Qualifications

Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
Ability to read CAD models (mechanical/electrical).
Experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environments.
Willingness to travel domestically 75%+ per year.

Responsibilities

Support and guide installation of robotics, packaging and sortation technologies at fulfillment centers.
Develop knowledge of robotic system operation and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting on site and remotely.
Manage technical ambiguity around work cell integration in fulfillment centers.
Collaborate with hardware engineering, TPMs, product managers, and internal customers.
Travel to project sites and coordinate across virtual and in-person settings to align stakeholders.
Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget management.
Lead teams of engineers on projects.
Pursue continuous improvement initiatives in projects.
