Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Systems Engineer within the RDPI Tech Deployment team (Amazon Robotics) to lead on-site deployment of industrial automation technologies across North America stores operations. You will coordinate installations, work with hardware engineering, program managers, and site teams, and travel extensively to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1+ year’s experience with technical drawings/CAD models (mechanical and electrical).
• 1+ year’s experience with mechanical, electrical, IT networks or software systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings to resolve on-site clashes.
• Ability to troubleshoot robotics systems and ensure on-site readiness.
• Willingness to travel across US and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support installation of robotics, packaging and sortation technologies at fulfillment centers.
• Develop knowledge of robotic systems and guide installation, commissioning and troubleshooting on site and remotely.
• Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget management.
• Collaborate with engineering, PMs, product teams, and operations staff.
• Lead teams of engineers and coordinate deployments across projects.
• Travel to project sites and coordinate with stakeholders to align on status.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardize deployment processes.
