Job summary

Amazon's Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovation (RDPI) Technology Deployment team seeks a Systems Engineer to oversee planning, installation, and launch of industrial automation across North America's Stores network.

You will act as lead on-site project manager, coordinating with hardware engineering, product managers, and operations, with up to 75% travel and relocation to Seattle, Boston, Nashville or Austin.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide installation of robotics, packaging and sortation technologies at Amazon fulfillment centers
• Develop detailed knowledge of the operation of robotic systems and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Manage technical ambiguity around integration of work cells in fulfillment centers
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program managers, product managers, and internal customers
• Travel to project sites and collaborate both virtually and in person to align stakeholders on program status
• Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget management
• Lead teams of other engineers on projects
• Travel to live warehouses and new construction sites with varying scopes and heavy travel
