Job summary

Keolis is seeking a Road Supervisor in California to oversee vehicle operators, monitor on-time performance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with dispatch and maintenance teams, mentor drivers, and address service issues in the field.

The role requires the ability to work outdoors in all weather, stay calm under pressure, and maintain high safety standards. Previous supervision experience in transit is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a personal computer and cellphone.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and interact with all departments.
• Able to work without direct supervision.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight of vehicle operators on the street.
• Observe driving skills and work habits of drivers in the field.
• Ensure operators are fit for duty with proper licensing and certifications.
• Assist dispatch and maintenance staff with field vehicle changes.
• Support operators with service or passenger issues.
• Conduct road observations per client and local policy.
• Monitor street operations for on-time performance and schedule adherence.
• Provide feedback to safety and operations on safety and performance issues.
• Follow company safety and operating procedures.
• Work under stress and meet tight timelines.
• Oversee onboard evaluations, trail checks, drive cam and mentor drivers.
• Monitor pull-outs and service areas.
• Perform other duties as required.
