Job summary

Keolis America, Inc. in California is seeking a Road Supervisor to provide direct oversight of vehicle operators in the field and to ensure on-time performance and safety compliance.

You will observe driving skills, verify licensing, assist dispatch and maintenance in field changes, and mentor drivers while following company safety rules and DOT requirements. The role requires endurance and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a personal computer and cellphone.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and interact with all departments.
• Able to work without direct supervision.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight of vehicle operators in the street.
• Observe driving skills and work habits of drivers in the field.
• Ensure that all operators are fit for duty, meet uniform and equipment standards and are properly licensed.
• Assist dispatch and maintenance staff with vehicle changes in the field.
• Assist operators with service or passenger problems.
• Conduct road observations according to client and local policy.
• Monitor street operations for on-time performance and schedule adherence.
• Provide safety feedback to safety and operations departments and identify hazards.
