Job summary

Genex Service LLC in Douglasville, GA is seeking a Medical Field Case Manager to join our team. This is a full-time hybrid/field role with regular local travel for in-person patient appointments.

As an RN with 2+ years of clinical experience and URAC-recognized CCM/CDMS/CRC or similar certification, you will coordinate treatment plans with physicians, employers, and patients, and strive for timely return-to-work while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• RN license active and in good standing.
• URAC-recognized certification in case management (CCM, CDMS, CRC, CRRN or COHN, COHN-S, RN-BC, ACM, CMAC, CMC).
• Travel to and attend in-person appointments within assigned geography.
• Reliability of internet connection.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and competency in case management standards of practice.
• Advise on treatment plans using knowledge of injuries, medications, comorbidities, and job duties.
• Interview patients to assess recovery and determine occupational involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians/providers to create and implement treatment plans.
• Work with employers and physicians to modify job duties for early return to work.
• Manage workload by prioritizing cases and planning appropriately.
• Attend appointments and prepare status updates for customers.
