Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Chantilly, VA is seeking a full‑time Rigger to join our field operations team. The role involves assembling, disassembling, and rigging machinery for relocation, using proper gear and safety protocols.

You will inspect rigging materials, coordinate with crew during hoisting, and operate basic equipment as needed. A High School diploma and at least two years in machinery moving are required, along with a valid driver's license and OSHA 10.

Qualifications

High School Diploma preferred.
Minimum two years machinery moving experience or comparable field experience.
Valid Driver’s License.
OSHA 10 for Construction required; OSHA 30 preferred not required.

Responsibilities

Visually inspect and test rigging materials to ensure safety and reliability.
Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
Use hand and power tools to attach loads to rigging and prepare for moving.
Signal or verbally communicate with workers during hoisting and moving loads.
Operate vehicles or mechanized equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts when required.
