Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a full-time Rigger in Chandler, AZ. You will set up, assemble, and disassemble rigging for relocation and transportation, selecting gear based on load size and movement area.

The role requires precise use of hand and power tools and clear communication with operators to ensure safety. Responsibilities include inspecting rigging materials, aligning and securing equipment, and assisting in fabrication and maintenance when not rigging.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics or technical manuals.
• Experience with rigging safety protocols and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect rigging materials for safety and reliability.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
• Attach loads to rigging and secure machinery for movement.
• Select appropriate gear (cables, pulleys, winches) per load specs.
• Communicate with team to ensure safe hoisting and moving of loads.
• Operate and move heavy equipment as needed while rigging.
