Luster is seeking Resident Engineers in Los Angeles to back-stop large heavy civil programs across highways, bridges, transit, and water facilities. These roles require administering contracts in the field, overseeing inspection teams, and coordinating with multiple agencies to ensure adherence to plans, specs, and schedules.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering or related degree with 5+ years in construction management on major projects, and familiarity with PM software like Primavera P6,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years in construction management or resident engineering on large heavy‑civil projects.
• Experience administering field contracts including submittals, RFIs, change management and payments.
• Experience overseeing inspection staff and field documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Unifier, Kahua, or similar PM software.

Responsabilidades

• Administer field construction contracts and ensure contractor conformance to plans and specs.
• Oversee inspection staff, field coverage, and documentation.
• Coordinate correspondence with contractor and design/submittal responses with the design team.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings; coordinate technical responses with the design team.
• Evaluate progress against schedule; verify quantities; recommend progress payments.
• Analyze change requests and potential change orders to support program decisions.
• Maintain construction records and PMIS documentation; support audit readiness.
• Lead meetings and oversee closeout, punch lists, testing and commissioning.
