Luster is seeking Construction Managers to support large-scale heavy civil infrastructure programs in Los Angeles and the surrounding area. You will oversee packages from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and contracts while managing cost, schedule, quality, and safety.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, construction engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of construction management experience for large, complex, heavy-civil infrastructure projects (>$500M).
• Experience overseeing contractor performance for owners, including field issue resolution and non-conformance follow-through.
• Experience administering construction contracts: submittals, RFIs, change orders, payment applications on public works.
• Experience evaluating change proposals and contractor pricing for entitlement, cost and schedule impact.
• Ability to review CPM schedules for critical path and schedule impact of changes.
• Knowledge of OSHA construction safety standards and QA requirements.
• Experience with CM/scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, Unifier, Kahua).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Oversee contractor performance across an assigned package, ensuring work aligns with plans and contract requirements.
• Administer contracts, maintain complete records for audit and claim reviews.
• Evaluate change proposals for entitlement, cost, and scheduling impact.
• Review baseline and updated schedules for critical path and delays.
• Coordinate QA activities and verify quantities against documents before payment.
• Monitor safety and environmental compliance and elevate issues.
• Track costs, progress, and forecast contract outcomes.
• Lead progress meetings, site walks, and issue resolution with stakeholders.
• Coordinate interfaces with utilities, rail, and adjacent contracts to keep facilities in service.
• Oversee closeout, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
