Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks an onsite Field Quality Manager to act as the primary quality support across teams, managing the Site-Specific Quality Plan and answering quality-related questions. This traveling role requires up to 100% travel, with 8–16 months per project, per diem, a company vehicle, and routine travel home from sites.

You will work within MasTec Renewables’ growing solar, wind, and storage projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in quality, engineering, or related field.
• Two years of quality experience in construction or operations.
• Trade certifications in testing/inspecting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Manage the Site-Specific Quality Plan to meet standards and client expectations.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications; visualize drawings in three dimensions.
• Inspect field conditions, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor QA/QC inspectors and train on quality procedures.
• Prepare the Monthly Project Quality Report and review with Site Manager.
