Job summary

Caliber Collision is seeking a Field Quality Technical Coach to mentor technicians, estimators, and management, ensuring repairs meet OEM specifications and Caliber quality standards.

You will oversee OE certification readiness, file reports with third‑party software, train centers, and collaborate with executives. Travel up to 30% is required. Strong communication and leadership are essential, with knowledge of CCC One, estimating systems, and Alldata.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience as a Non-Structural and Structural technician.
• Proficiency with collision repair equipment and diagnostic instruments.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for company insurance.
• I-CAR Structural Platinum certification is required or highly preferred.
• Knowledge of OEM repair procedures and specifications is essential.

Responsibilities

• Mentor repair technicians, estimators, and management to Caliber standards.
• File reports on OE standards using third-party software.
• Follow up with center teammates regarding repairs in person or via conference calls.
• Coordinate necessary training based on quality reviews.
• Partner with executives and field leadership; liaise with OE certification teams.
• Complete facility inspections and submit reports with photos of shop/tools.
• Review reports with Center and Operations Leadership for accountability.
• Create action plans to improve processes and deliverables; align with business strategy.
• Optimize center performance and ensure OE certification readiness.
• Travel up to 30% to support centers nationwide.
