Zusammenfassung

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – Transmission & Distribution to lead complex utility infrastructure projects from pursuit to closeout. You will oversee transmission, distribution, and substation work, manage scope, cost, and schedule, and ensure safety and quality.

Ideal candidates bring 2–7+ years in construction project management, strong leadership, and proven client relationships. Travel will be required, with a focus on field-based execution and high-impact projects

Qualifikationen

• 2–7+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Experience in transmission, distribution, or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of T&D construction methods, sequencing, and project delivery.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with project management/scheduling software (Primavera P6, HCSS, MS Project).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Aufgaben

• Lead projects through estimating, bidding, execution, and closeout phases.
• Manage transmission, distribution, and substation construction activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, field leadership, and internal project teams.
• Develop and maintain strong client and utility relationships.
• Track and manage project costs, forecasts, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Support project planning for transmission line construction, distribution upgrades, and substation scopes.
• Promote Michels’ safety‑first culture across all operations.
• Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and operational feedback.
