Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager in Noblesville, IN to lead installation, programming, startup, and training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will ensure work stays within contract scope, budget, and schedule while collaborating with the project team.

You will supervise technicians and subcontractors, coordinate site activities, identify risks, ensure quality, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong supervision and field installation experience required.
• Experience with building automation, fire alarm or security systems preferred.
• Proficient reading of blueprints and drawings; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site management for timely completion within budget and scope.
• Mentor Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure QA standards are met.
• Assist in project coordination, scope changes, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify risks and support mitigation for costs and deadlines.
• Ensure installations meet national and local codes and company standards.
• Install, program, test, repair, and service fire, security, and building automation systems.
• Perform other duties as required.
