Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager in San Antonio, TX to lead installation, programming, start-up and training on fire, security and building automation projects. You will ensure work remains within contract scope, budget and schedule while coordinating with the project team and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Requires experience installing and servicing building automation, fire alarm, and/or electronic security systems.
• Experience supervising field crews and subcontractors.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic calculations.
• Willingness to travel to jobsites and maintain schedules.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site management for timely project completion within budget.
• Prepare installation plans and implement job procedures with the Project Coordinator.
• Supervise field personnel and subcontractors; mentor and coordinate work.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure QA standards.
• Collaborate with Project Coordinator to optimize scope and client satisfaction.
• Identify project risks and help implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure installation quality aligns with codes and company standards.
• Install, program, test, repair, and service systems and provide customer training.
