Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, startup/check-out, certification, and training on Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects at our Austin location.

You will coordinate with the project team to deliver within scope, schedule, and budget, supervise field staff and subcontractors, manage risk, and ensure compliance with codes and company standards.

Qualifications

• College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience.
• Must have experience with Security Programming.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of projects to ensure timely completion within budget and scope.
• Supervises Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors in the field; mentors and coaches staff.
• Coordinates and supervises subcontractors and directs on-site activities to ensure quality.
• Installs, programs, tests, and services systems incl. security, fire life safety, and building automation.
• Ensures compliance with codes and company standards; maximizes customer satisfaction.
