Job summary

Konica Minolta is seeking a Production Systems Technician to perform on-site maintenance and diagnostics on KM production equipment and printers. You will install, de-install, and configure networking for printing and scanning, while loading drivers and firmware upgrades.

Daily travel to customer sites is required, with occasional training trips. The role emphasizes strong technical aptitude, reliability, and the ability to train customers on core printing tasks and to coordinate with management

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical school training preferred.
1–2 years of experience repairing business equipment.
N+ or equivalent certification.
Electrical/mechanical aptitude is a must.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on KM Production, Color production, MFP equipment and printers (HP, Lexmark, etc.).
Install/de-install equipment, configure and troubleshoot networking for printing and scanning on Windows/Mac OS; load drivers and upgrade firmware.
Travel locally to customer sites daily; occasional travel outside the local area for training.
Maintain accurate inventory and assist with calls, customer communication and satisfaction.
Train customers on basic printing, scanning and copying functions; complete weekly timesheets and expense reports.
Provide sales support as needed and communicate issues to management.
