Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on KM and non-KM printers. You will install equipment, troubleshoot networking issues, load drivers, and manage device inventories across a designated territory.

You will travel locally to customer sites, ensure timely service, and maintain strong customer communication. A high school diploma, technical training, and 1–2 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school training preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in technical repair of business equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs full range of on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and customer call assistance on assigned products (KM Production, Color production, MFP equipment and printers; non-KM printers HP, Lexmark) and handles installation/de-installations.
• Configures and troubleshoots networking issues (Printing and Scanning) on Windows/Mac OS, loads print drivers, clones files and transfers address books.
• TravelLocally to customer sites daily to manage territory and maintain high customer communication and satisfaction.
• Occasionally travel outside local area for training; communicate with management on field issues.
• Complete training and service products; request assistance as needed to meet customer demands.
• Adhere to call handling procedures and productivity metrics; demonstrate progress in technical abilities and troubleshooting.
