Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Solutions Canada is seeking a Production Systems Specialist to perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on KM Production and color production equipment, printers, and related devices. The role requires travel to customer sites and the ability to configure networks and install firmware.

You will train customers, support sales, and maintain territory inventory, with strong communication and independent work capability.

Qualifications

Electrical/mechanical aptitude is required.
Experience with printing from business applications and graphics programs.
Experience with Windows/Mac OS client environments.
Strong time management and scheduling abilities.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform full on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and customer call assistance on KM Production, Color production, MFP equipment and printers & non-KM printers; load drivers and upgrade firmware.
Install/ de-install equipment; configure and troubleshoot networking issues (Printing/Scanning) on Windows and Mac OS.
Travel locally to customer sites daily; manage territory workload and maintain communication with customers.
Occasionally travel outside local area for training.
Train customers on basic printing, scanning and copying functions.
Maintain accurate ASL truck inventory for designated territory.
Provide sales support as required (advise sales on problems accounts, service leads).
