Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Break Fix Printer Technician to join its field service team in Monterey, CA. The role focuses on on-site break/fix support for HP PC Products customers, including laptops, desktops, workstations, and printers.

You will troubleshoot hardware logically and communicate clearly with customers and internal teams in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on repair skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Onsite, customer-facing experience with strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in mechanical hardware repair and troubleshooting hardware.
• Comfort with using tools and alignment apparatus for repair tasks.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime, including non-traditional shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site break/fix support for HP PC Products customers (laptops, desktops, printers).
• Diagnose and repair printer and related hardware using logical troubleshooting steps.
• Configure hardware, software, and simple network components to restore service.
• Manage multiple service events, prioritize tasks, and maintain admin records.
• Support escalation processes and contribute to technical action plans.
