Job summary

Techify Care, Inc. is seeking a Field Support Engineer to install, configure, test, and replace POS devices at branch locations in Orlando. You will follow work orders, verify connectivity, and perform test transactions to ensure seamless operations.

You will coordinate with Store Managers, document installation steps, obtain sign-offs, and maintain professional customer service while minimizing disruption to store operations.

Qualifications

• POS device installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Basic networking knowledge, including IP addresses and connectivity.
• Hardware and cable installation.
• Software downloads, device reboot procedures, and peripheral pairing.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Work order management and technical documentation.
• Ability to work independently at branch and retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Check in with the MOD on arrival; review work order details and installation requirements.
• Remove legacy POS devices and cables following client procedures.
• Install new POS devices (P630/M425) and cables; verify power, network, and peripherals.
• Enter network parameters and configure POS devices per client instructions.
• Monitor software updates and reboots; perform test sale/registration.
• Coordinate testing with store manager; execute test transactions and report issues.
• Obtain sign-off, clean area, and update the work order with results.
