Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Patient Access Liaison (PAL) to execute field patient access strategy, support REMS certification and enrollment, and educate healthcare sites on coverage, coding, payment, and reimbursement processes.

The role is field-based in Newark, NJ or Frederick, MD with travel up to 50%. You will strengthen account relationships, maintain CRM documentation, and collaborate with matrix teams while upholding non-promotional boundaries and ensuring patient access readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in field reimbursement, patient access, and case management within pharma/biotech.
• Experience supporting access, reimbursement, and patient support services.
• Bachelor’s degree required; valid driver’s license; willingness to travel ~50%.
• Ability to navigate a complex healthcare ecosystem and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Educate sites on REMS certification and enrollment.
• Support site access readiness and strengthen relationships.
• Provide compliant education on coverage, coding, payment and appeals.
• Educate on case management processes for consented patients.
• Troubleshoot access barriers via approved pathways.
• Coordinate treatment logistics across REMS, HUB and distributors.
• Collaborate on cross-functional handoffs with Sales and Site of Care teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation of activities and outcomes.
• Develop and execute account-level business plans.
• Maintain non-promotional role boundaries at all times.
