Job summary

QXO in Newark, CA is seeking an energetic outside sales professional to independently manage existing customers and prospect new opportunities within a 250-mile territory, with up to 75% travel and overnight stays as needed.

You will build relationships with contractors and builders, demonstrate products, negotiate terms, and process orders. The role requires strong presentation and communication skills, and comfort with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills; both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills to process and review dealer orders, requests and system generated acknowledgements.
• 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience.
• General Contractor and Building industry knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial insulation, building envelope, or building science is a plus.
• Comprehension of construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage existing customers and prospecting activity in your territory.
• Travel up to a 250-mile radius with overnight requirements up to 75%.
• Ability to build strong relationships; lead negotiations and close deals.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
