Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a skilled Field Operations Technician for Richmond, VA. You will perform installation, repair, configuration and testing of MACD on Nokia, Infinera, and Ciena equipment, and support customer optical, electrical, voice and data services.

Emphasis on trust-building and best-in-class service. Responsibilities include on-site installation and repair of internet services, cabling, and networking equipment, plus testing circuits with OTDRs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications and related service installations.
• Customer-focused approach with strong communication and de-escalation skills.
• Degree or diploma from a technical college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused service on site.
• Install, repair, configure, and test MACDs on Nokia, Infinera, and Ciena equipment.
• Diagnose issues, replace hardware, and test data circuits for connectivity.
• Adhere to Ledcor safety standards using company vehicles and tools.
• Travel with a company-provided vehicle as required.
