Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Field Operations Technician in Albuquerque, NM to install, repair, configure and test MACD on Nokia, Infinera and Ciena equipment. You will perform on-site installation and servicing of fiber and copper networks, with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Travel with a company vehicle is required. The role requires 5+ years in telecommunications, strong problem solving, and clear communication.

Qualifications

5+ years in telecommunications, cabling, or related service fields.
Customer-focused with professional demeanor and strong problem-solving.
Technical college degree preferred.
Proficient with MS Office suite.
Experience working in the field independently in dynamic environments.
Clear and effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, customer-focused service to clients.
Install, repair, configure and test MACD on telecom equipment.
Perform on-site installation of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rack-mounted gear.
Diagnose issues and implement solutions, including wiring and hardware replacement.
Follow safety standards and proper use of vehicles/tools/equipment.
