Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Field Ops Supervisor to lead yard and transportation operations and supervise a team of technicians and drivers. You will coordinate routes, manage pickups and deliveries, and work across departments to ensure efficient, accurate service.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, plus a valid driver's license. You will analyze performance metrics, maintain staffing levels, and support safety programs while ensuring customer

Qualifications

• 2+ years in leadership, managing diverse teams to achieve results
• 2+ years experience in a related field and/or training
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise yard operations and technicians
• Coordinate routes, pickups and deliveries with routers to optimize routing efficiency
• Analyze operational metrics (routing efficiency, labor, overtime, fuel, customer care)
• Ensure cross‑department communication to resolve issues and improve service
• Maintain staffing levels to meet branch needs and coordinate logistics for events
• Review driver paperwork and payroll related forms for accuracy
• Oversee fleet safety program and DOT administration
• Conduct periodic employee performance reviews
• Operate a variety of company vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned
