Job summary

United Site Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Ops Supervisor with strong yard and transportation knowledge to lead a team of technicians and drivers.

You will supervise operation functions, coordinate routes, and ensure efficient pickups and deliveries while maintaining safety and quality standards. You will analyze operational data, collaborate across departments, and develop staff through performance reviews and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year/Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a related field and/or training.
• Minimum of 2 years proven leadership experience leading a diverse team to accomplish results.
• Customer service focus.
• Team building ability.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Decision making and problem solving ability.
• Valid driver's license.
• Bilingual highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all yard activities, supervising technicians.
• Coordinate routes, pickups, and deliveries for routing efficiency.
• Analyze and report on operational activities (routing, labor, overtime, fuel, customer care).
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Coordinate asset transfers with other yards.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet customer and branch needs.
• Review driver paperwork for accuracy and payroll approvals.
• Oversee DOT administration and safety program for drivers.
• Conduct employee development and periodic performance reviews.
• Operate a variety of company vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
