Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Distribution Supervisor in Illinois to direct craft crews and optimize safety, reliability and performance of the electric distribution system. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise a team of 12-15 technicians, manage budgets, and collaborate with various departments to meet company goals.

The role requires 2–3 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication, and 24-hour on-call availability; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years internal utility company experience (e.g., ComEd, PECO), or equivalent external experience
• 2-3 years internal supervisory experience (e.g., ComEd PECO, BSC, ExGen)
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills in a high-performance culture.
• This position requires 24-hour on-call responsibility and varied work schedules as required by business needs.
• Minimum 2-year commitment in position required

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees on scheduled and emergent work activities to assure safety, reliability and performance goals
• Foster a high-performance culture and learning organization; provide coaching and evaluate performance
• Facilitate open communication and build relationships across departments and with unions
• Manage Union/management relationships and engage local union stewards under the Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Work within departmental budgets and plan resource coverage to meet business objectives
• Coordinate emergency response to restore continuity of service
