Job summary

Exelon is seeking an experienced supervisor to direct craft staff in the safe, reliable operation of the electric distribution system. The role requires 24-hour on-call coverage, leadership, and coordination across multiple departments.

The position focuses on maintaining performance goals, managing labor relations, and executing budgets and schedules to ensure continuous service delivery to customers in a challenging energy environment.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years internal utility company experience or equivalent external experience.
• 2-3 years internal supervisory experience or acceptable Supervisory Assessment rating.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills in a high-performance culture.
• This position requires 24-hour on-call responsibility and varied work schedules.
• Minimum 2-year commitment in position required

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees to achieve safety, reliability and performance goals.
• Promote a high-performance culture, provide coaching and training, and evaluate employee performance.
• Facilitate open communication and build relationships across departments; drive continuous improvement.
• Manage union/management relationships and support the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Work within budgets and plan resource coverage for business plans and objectives.
• Coordinate emergency response to restore service continuity for customers
