Job summary

Exelon is seeking a seasoned leader to direct craft personnel in the construction, operation, and maintenance of overhead and underground electric and gas facilities. You will ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction while aligning with budget and labor agreements.

You’ll coach and evaluate performance, manage on-call emergency responses, and influence safety culture across teams. A strong leadership background and knowledge of union practices are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years internal utility company experience or equivalent external experience.
• 2-3 years internal supervisory experience or acceptable rating on Supervisory Assessment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.
• Demonstrated knowledge of operating and construction work practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to support and enforce safe work behavior; requires working knowledge of safety rules and work practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct craft employees to assure safety, reliability and productivity goals.
• Provide leadership and development of the craft workforce; conduct performance reviews.
• Coordinate emergency response with 24-hour on-call responsibilities.
• Work within departmental budgets and plan resource coverage for business plans and unit objectives.
• Promote a high performance culture and diversity; drive business initiatives and change.
