Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Field Operations Specialist to ensure Progress homes are secure and ready to rent. You will walk vacant homes, perform inspections, and re-key prior to move-in, with basic maintenance like changing batteries, bulbs, filters, and winterization.

You’ll prepare homes for move-in, manage keys and garage remotes, submit service requests, and contribute to asset presentation and security. Strong time management and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in property management or maintenance/inspections.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Property maintenance and repair skills preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable with technology; Salesforce and Yardi knowledge a plus.
• Able to drive safely and follow fleet driving policies.
• Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and complete tasks on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Walks assigned homes to ensure vacant on-market homes are move-in ready.
• Conducts quality control, move-in inspections, home curation, and cataloging.
• Performs basic maintenance such as changing batteries, bulbs, filters, and winterization.
• Prepares homes for move-in by identifying issues, re-keying, and managing keys.
• Submits vacant service requests as needed.
• Performs light cleaning to ensure asset shows well.
• Verifies utilities are connected and may meet vendors at homes.
• Ensures Smart Home systems are operational and follows policy.
• Installs/removes portable self-show lockboxes as applicable.
• Inspects homes for scam activity and verifies marketing materials.
• Performs occupancy checks on eviction homes, takes photos, shares status.
• Posts notices and communicates status with photos.
• Attends eviction lockouts as needed.
• Follows fleet vehicle maintenance; keeps vehicle/workspace organized.
• May handle administrative functions in customer service.
