Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Field Operations Specialist to ensure vacant homes are secure and ready for leasing. You will walk homes, perform inspections, re-key before resident move-in, and carry out basic maintenance tasks such as changing batteries and bulbs.

The role requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. You’ll support re‑keys, utility coordination, and fleet duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in property management or maintenance/inspections.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable with technology; Salesforce and Yardi knowledge a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Always maintain valid auto insurance.
• Willingness to drive safely and follow fleet policies.
• Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Walks assigned homes to ensure move-in readiness.
• Conducts quality control, move-in inspections, and cataloging.
• Performs basic maintenance (change batteries, bulbs, filters, winterization).
• Prepares home for move-in by addressing issues and re-keying.
• Submits vacant service requests as needed.
• Performs light cleaning to present assets well.
• Verifies utilities are connected and coordinates access.
• Ensures Smart Home systems are operational and follows policy.
• Inspects homes for scam signs and marketing materials.
• Remains available for eviction lockouts and occupancy checks.
• Maintains Fleet vehicle and inventory per policy.
• May perform administrative functions in customer service.
