Job summary

Progress Residential, a leading single-family rental manager, seeks a Field Operations Specialist to ensure homes are secure and ready for leasing. The role involves walking vacant homes, performing inspections, and basic maintenance tasks to prepare properties for resident move‑in.

The ideal candidate has 1 year in property management or maintenance, reliable transportation, and a comfort with technology such as Salesforce or Yardi.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in property management or maintenance/inspections.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Comfortable with technology; Salesforce and Yardi knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Walks assigned homes to ensure vacant on-market homes are move‑in ready.
• Performs quality control, move‑in inspections, home curation, and cataloging.
• Demonstrates basic maintenance and repair skills (changing batteries, bulbs, filters, winterization).
• Prepares home for move‑in by identifying issues, re‑keying, and managing keys/garage remotes.
