Job summary

Traba is seeking a Field Operator to serve as the in-market operational hands, recruiting, onboarding, and preparing workers for placement across multiple sites. You will be the local face of Traba, building community partnerships, running onboarding sessions, and ensuring workers are vetted and ready for their first shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• English language proficiency required.
• 1–2+ years in operations or customer-facing roles (staffing, manufacturing, warehousing, retail, food service, or on-site coordination).
• Strong recruiting instincts; ability to source, screen, and convert candidates.
• Ability to run large group onboarding sessions and present to workers.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
• Professional demeanor representing Traba with workers, partners, and clients.
• Flexible and adaptive to shifting priorities and locations.

Responsibilities

• Worker Relationship Management: Build relationships with workers from recruiting through placement and provide updates and support.
• Community & Partner Relationships: Develop relationships with workforce centers and local partners to drive worker pipeline and brand presence in the market.
• Worker Vetting & Onboarding: Oversee vetting, drug testing, and onboarding end-to-end, including large group onboarding sessions when volume calls for it.
• Worker Funnel Management: Manage the full worker funnel — sourcing, screening, scheduling, and converting applicants into placement-ready workers.
• New Start Scheduling: Coordinate interviews and start schedules for new hires across customer sites, ensuring workers are matched to opportunities at the right time.
• PPE & On-Site Support: Distribute PPE and provide on-site presence at customer facilities as needed to support starts, escalations, or peak coverage.
• Communication & Reporting: Maintain proactive feedback loops with Traba HQ — flagging market trends, funnel issues, or coverage risks early.
