Job summary

Traba is seeking a Field Operator in the Kansas City market to serve as the in-market operational hands, recruiting, onboarding, and preparing workers for placement across multiple customer sites.

You will be the local face of Traba to our workforce, building partnerships, running onboarding sessions, and ensuring every worker is vetted and ready for their first shift. This role demands professionalism and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Recruiting instincts and ability to source and select candidates.
• Experience with onboarding programs and coordinating onboarding sessions.
• Experience vetting candidates and ensuring compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with workers across the market — owning the experience from recruiting through placement and providing timely updates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with workforce centers, community organizations, and local partners to grow the pipeline.
• Oversee worker vetting, drug testing, and onboarding end-to-end, including large group onboarding sessions.
• Manage the full worker funnel — sourcing, screening, scheduling, and converting applicants into placement-ready workers.
• Coordinate interviews and start schedules for new hires across customer sites.
• Distribute and manage PPE, and provide on-site presence to support new starts and peak coverage.
