Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC in San Fernando, CA is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day branch operations, drive efficiency, safety and compliance, manage staff and workflows, and partner with departments to meet financial and operational targets while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate/bachelor in landscape or business field or equivalent service-industry experience.
• 7+ years in construction/landscaping; 2–3 years in management.
• Pesticide/fertilizer license preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and company systems such as FSM/BrightPath.
• Experience with mobile apps and field tech usage.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead teams.
• English with Spanish preferred; strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Supervise, train, and develop staff; conduct evaluations.
• Execute weekly/monthly labor forecasting; manage resources.
• Source products and manage inventory; ensure timely deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Track KPIs; report operational challenges to Branch Manager daily.
• Utilize BrightPath, Power BI, Leadr, and other tools for decisions.
• Maintain high customer service standards and jobsite quality.
• Lead operational projects; ensure timely delivery within scope.
• Plan staffing, equipment, and technology; ensure capacity.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners on operational excellence.
