Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Field Ops Manager to lead all branch operations, supervise dispatchers, service technicians, and drivers, and ensure safe, efficient performance across the site. You will monitor service levels, coordinate asset transfers with other departments, and drive continuous improvement in workflows and customer care.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years of leadership experience, an Associate's degree or higher, strong budgeting and reporting skills, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year college or technical school; combination of education and experience accepted.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience and/or training.
• Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience leading a diverse team.
• Valid driver license (Class C) and experience with multi-stop routing and dispatch procedures.
• Knowledge of Navision, Office and routing/logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of dispatcher/routers, service technicians, pick up & delivery drivers, yard personnel, fence crews, and shop.
• Monitor service levels and deliveries; recommend measures to improve efficiency and customer care.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective regional communication.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet branch needs and supervise asset transfers.
• Analyze operational activities and report on labor, overtime, routing efficiency, and fuel.
• Develop and implement standard practices with the Regional VP; manage fleet DOT administration.
• Review payroll punches, time off requests, and coordinate safety training with Safety & HR.
• Conduct performance reviews and foster a safe, productive work environment.
