Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Manager Field Ops to lead all branch operations in the United States. You will supervise dispatchers, service technicians, drivers, and yard staff, ensuring accurate paperwork, routing efficiency, and strong customer communication.

The role emphasizes staffing, performance reviews, safety coordination, asset management, and budgeting, with a focus on reliability and cross-department collaboration to support company goals.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience and/or training.
• Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience leading a diverse team.
• Valid Driver License (Class C).
• Experience with multi-stop routing systems and dispatch procedures.
• Computer knowledge with Navision, Microsoft Office and routing/logistics software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial statements and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of dispatcher/routers, service technicians, drivers, and yard personnel.
• Review paperwork for completeness and accuracy, including manifests and routing tickets.
• Monitor service levels and deliveries; recommend efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective regional communication.
• Develop staffing plans to meet branch needs and performance goals.
• Analyze operational activity, including labor, overtime, and fuel usage.
• Lead safety program administration and coordinate training with Safety/HR.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and employee development.
• Operate and pull trailers with company vehicles; manage asset transfers when needed.
