Job summary

BearCom seeks a Field Service Manager to oversee daily operations in the Field Service Department across assigned areas. You will lead a technician and installer team, coordinate with customers and vendors, and interact with senior management.

The role emphasizes hands-on support and project execution in wireless communications systems. The position requires extensive travel, on-call readiness, and a strong background in leadership within the wireless sector, along with a solid understanding of

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in technical management in the wireless industry or similar.
• Experience in developing, qualifying, and directing new business opportunities through customer interface and requirements gathering.
• Knowledge of, and experience with a network of vendor resources.
• Experience managing complex project implementations.
• Understanding of business practices P&L responsibility.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Extensive knowledge/understanding of 2-way radio theory, RF propagation characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and service assignments.
• Act as direct liaison between BearCom technicians and Motorola or end customer.
• Prepare quotes, bids, and schedules for installation and repair tasks.
• Organize and schedule upcoming field work.
• Provide hands-on technical support in field operations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and resolve wireless equipment problems with customers.
• Deliver FATP, perform site surveys and assessments per customer requirements.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of wireless equipment and related hardware.
