Job summary

WM is seeking a Field Operations Leader to onboard and develop drivers and helpers, coaching them for daily duties while maintaining strong relationships with frontline teams. The role spends most time in the field, guiding safety practices and performance improvements across routes and sites.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree or high school diploma with relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and legal eligibility to work in the United States. On-site pay ranges apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of a degree, High School Diploma (accredited) and two (2) years of relevant work experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located.
• Driver's License Valid Driver's License Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, develop, coach, mentor, and manage performance of all drivers and helpers.
• Meet daily with new frontline employees to support onboarding and communication.
• Provide timely, consistent touchpoints with frontline employees.
• Review best practices to improve daily performance.
• Guide frontline employees toward career goals and address improvement opportunities.
• Lead by example to prioritize safety in all interactions.
• Conduct root cause investigations for injuries and incidents and document retraining.
• Document and maintain records required by regulatory agencies such as DOT.
