Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily branch operations, supervise staff, manage resources, and drive efficiency while ensuring compliance with company policies.

The role emphasizes process improvement, labor forecasting, procurement, safety, and customer service, with collaboration across departments to meet financial targets and improve jobsite quality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a landscape or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the construction or landscaping industry
• Minimum 2-3 years of management experience within the landscape or service industry
• Qualified Applicator License (Pesticide or Fertilizer) preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as company systems such as FSM, BrightPath, and MFP/WAR calls.
• Experience with mobile applications, including retrieving email, accessing and using mobile applications
• Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving work environment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to create and foster a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, staff, resources, and workflows to achieve targets
• Lead process improvements to boost productivity and cost-efficiency
• Conduct weekly/monthly labor planning and forecasting
• Manage procurement and inventory with vendors to prevent overstocking
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct audits
• Report KPIs and drive data-driven improvements with BrightPath, Power BI and other systems
• Deliver high customer service and jobsite quality
• Lead and coordinate operational projects to support branch growth
• Plan for future resource needs and align with organizational goals
• Collaborate with Office Admin, Operations, Sales, and Account Management
